Method 1: Clear the Google Play cache

  1. Go to “Settings” >> “Apps “>> Google Play Store

  2. Tapped on “Google Play Store”

    In the Apps Section, you will find various options like “Force Stop”, “Uninstall Updates”, “Disable”, “Clear Data”, “Clear Cache”.

  3. Tap on “Clear Data” and “Clear Cache”.

    Make Sure that After you do that you see “0 KB” in Storage & Cache

  4. Open Google Play Store Again

    Now, Open Google Play Store Again and try Downloading “PUBG Mobile”.

  5. Error will get resolved now

    Most Probably, the Error will get resolved now. if not, Again Go to “Play Store” in the Apps Section and tap on “Uninstall Updates” and Try Downloading PUBG Mobile Again.

Method 2: Remove your account

  1. Go to System settings > Accounts > Google and remove your Gmail account
  2. Go to Settings > Apps > All and look for the Google Play Store.
  3. Tap on it and look for the Clear Cache and Clear Data options. Tap on them.
  4. Tap on Force Stop as well.
  5. Repeat the previous two steps for the Google Service Framework and Download Manager
  6. Go to Settings > Accounts > Google and add your Gmail account again
  7. Restart your phone or tablet
  8. Set up the device again, add your account and accept the terms and settings
  9. Go back to the Play Store and try installing an app, in order to see if the  Google Play Store Error 495 appears again.

If this doesn’t work either, proceed to the next one.

Method 3: Install a VPN

  1. Install the Hideman VPN app from the Play Store (if you’re lucky enough and it works) or install the .apk directly
  2. Open the app and select the United States as your country of connection
  3. Press connect
  4. Open the Play Store and see if the error persists
